Thank you for booking with Betula Lake Resort. We hope your stay at the resort will be an unforgettable experience.

 

We have enclosed your Confirmation of Reservation. Please note that the number of registered guests, including children is limited to that shown on the Confirmation. Please notify us in advance if any changes need to be made.

 

All of our guests are important to us therefore the following policies must be followed.

 

Resort Policies :

 

Reservation :

 

A deposit of 50% of the rental cost is required at the time of booking. We accept Visa, MasterCard, certified cheque, money orders and cash. No personal cheques will be accepted. Rates are subject to GST and PST

 

Your verbal authorization or via an email transmission to use your credit card number for your deposit indicates your compliance with our booking terms and conditions.

 

Cancellations :

 

Your deposit less a $50.00 administration fee will be refunded if cancellation is received 30 days prior to arrival date. If cancellation is received after this time, your deposit will be forfeited unless we are able to rebook the cabin. If we are able to rebook, we will honour your deposit for a future stay ( absolutely no refunds given ) minus the $50.00 administration fee.

 

No refunds can be given for days lost through late arrival or early departure. Please see our storm policy on our web site at www.betulalake.ca

 

Arrival/Departure :

 

Check-in time: after 4:00 p.m. Check-out time : prior to 11:00 a.m.

 

These times are extremely important as we have scheduled staff accordingly, and to ensure the cabins are cleaned for our next guests arriving at 4:00 p.m. the same day, your cooperation is greatly appreciated by all involved.

 

Smoking : All cabins are smoke-free. However we have provided an ashtray for outdoor use. If evidence of smoking in cabins is determined a $100 cleaning fee will be processed to your credit card. Please smoke outdoors.

 

Pets : We love your pets as much as you do, however we are unable to accommodate them at the resort. This is to ensure our future guests with allergies can enjoy their stay as much as you will.

 

Visitors : Guests may have visitors between 11:00 am and 9:00 PM. They are limited to four people at a time. We ask that they report to the Store and park in our “designated visitor” area, not at the cabins to keep traffic flow to a minimum and help ensure the safety of all of our guests. We have limited waste disposal capacity and in order to not disrupt our guests during their stay any more than is necessary we ask that friends and family staying in the campground NOT use the Resort facilities (i.e. washrooms/showers). Visitors are also prohibited from bringing their pets onto the resort property. We apologize but tents are not allowed in the cabin area.

 

 

 

 

Amenities :

 

Cabins are located on our private sandy beach of Betula Lake.

Most cottages are lakefront; cottages 8, 9, 10 and 11 are behind the first row.

All cabins include:

 

•  Air conditioning

•  Wireless Internet

•  Satellite TV, and DVD player

•  Carpeting and electric heat

•  Fully equipped kitchens

•  Propane barbeques and fire pits

•  Screened-in gazebo and deck, except # 11 which has a large tiered deck and fenced yard.

•  Fireplaces in cabins 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8

•  4 rolls of toilet paper

•  Hand and dish soap

•  One set of bedding for each bed, does not include futons or sofa beds

•  The use of our Canoes, Kayaks, Pedal Boats

•  Up to 3 free 4L jugs of water for your consumption, you may purchase more in our store or bring your own. (example: 1 jug for a 2 or 3 night stay, 2 jugs for a 4 or 5 night stay, 3 jugs for a 6 to 7 night stay)

 

Note: Rates include light housekeeping therefore daily maid service is not provided. We ask that you leave the cabins in the same state as your day of arrival.

 

Convenience Store :

 

Our fully stocked convenience store assures you have the luxuries of being at home while you are relaxing with us. The store provides:

•  Groceries (fully stocked)

•  Fresh Coffee, Cappuccino, Iced Cappuccino and Slush Puppies

•  Newspapers (weekends only May Long to Thanksgiving and daily July & August)

•  Motor Boat rentals (extra charges apply - weekly rates are now available)

•  Large Selection of Movie Rentals

•  Souvenirs, Betula Lake Clothing

•  Hunting & Fishing Licenses, Tackle and Bait, Park Passes

•  Gas, Oil and Propane Tanks

•  Ice, Novelty ice cream

 

Betula Beer Store:

 

•  Fully stocked Domestic and Import Beer Products, as well as malt based coolers.

 

Soft Ice Cream /Take out Pizza:

 

•  8 Traditional flavours of hard Ice Cream

•  8 great flavours of “Flavour Burst” soft Ice cream

•  Sundaes, Twisters, Slush Puppies

•  Take out Pizza 9” or 15”, Fries, Chicken Fingers and other take out items

 

The following is a list of items you should bring from home:

 

•  Beach and Bath Towels as we do not supply any towels
